- 2 medium mixing bowls
- 1 9" pie pan
Ingredients
For the crust:
- 12 graham crackers crushed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted, 1 stick
- 2 tbsp light brown sugar
For the filling:
- 1 pkg orange-flavored gelatin (Jell-O) 3 oz
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1 cup cold orange juice
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 8 oz whipped topping like Cool Whip, thawed
Instructions
Make the crust:
- In a bowl, mix 12 graham crackers,1/2 cup unsalted butter, and 2 tbsp light brown sugar until combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch pie dish.
- Refrigerate while preparing the filling.
Prepare the filling:
- In a large bowl, dissolve 1 pkg orange-flavored gelatin (Jell-O) in 1/2 cup boiling water.
- Stir in 1 cup cold orange juice and 14 oz sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
- Fold in 8 oz whipped topping until fully combined and fluffy.
Assemble and Serve:
- Pour the filling into the prepared crust. Smooth the top with a spatula.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
- Garnish with more whipped topping and orange slices, if desired.
Notes
For a tangier flavor, use orange juice with pulp.
You can substitute vanilla wafer crumbs for the graham crackers for a twist.
